Introduction

The Trinity Care Nursing Home project is a community-based initiative dedicated to promoting the health, dignity, and well-being of elderly persons and PWDs living with non-communicable diseases (NCDs). Many elderly individuals in Bududa and surrounding districts face food insecurity, inadequate medical care, poor shelter, and social isolation. This project seeks to provide holistic care ie medical, emotional, social, and economic; through a residential program and community outreach, ensuring that elderly persons regain dignity and access essential services.
